Accident Investigations and Issue Resolution
SACAL provides expert resources to address the many OSH issues that require an OSH Specialist to assess and provide recommendations. This is very evident during accident investigations where an OSH specialist is required to have knowledge of the labor relations regulations, the management structure, and how the program requirements are implemented in the field in order to perform a thorough investigation and develop a report with functional recommendations.
Fire Protection Engineering Services
SACAL provides expert resources to support complex and unusual Fire Life Safety (FLS) issues with regards to facilities. SACAL performs troubleshooting on FLS problems in the field, review drawings and specification submittals, attend routine and emergency meetings, conduct facility inspections and provide the facility with resolution recommendations to meet the codes; conduct training and briefings; participate in pre-construction meetings, conduct program evaluations; provide fire protection program guidance; provide telephone guidance to facility field personnel.
Fall Protection
SACAL provides expert resources in fall protection to support facility programs. This includes equipment inspection, evaluation, written program development, job hazard analyses as they relate to fall protection and other safety areas, and training, which consists of Expert Climber and Authorized Climber training facilitation, and general problem solving ability.

SACAL provides expert resources to perform indoor air quality investigations. This support includes responding to air quality complaints or concerns, assessing the problem, and providing technical recommendations for the facility.

SACAL provides OSH support expertise with a good understanding of the Asbestos Control Program, the standard procedures with regards to asbestos and lead assessment, abatement, monitoring, sampling, and management. This also includes maintaining existing asbestos and/or lead data management systems. This support includes fire life safety, fall protection, egress, electrical safety, and other applicable OSH programs. We provide resources needed to assist the facility with identification and resolution of problems.
Program Planning and Implementation Services
SACAL provides resources with extensive knowledge in facility organizational systems and tools to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of various OSH programs. This support would include helping the facility to determine the extent of the program, identify program goals and objectives, develop program options and implementation plans, prioritize associated tasks, evaluate and obtain subcontract support to perform specific tasks, provide technical oversight of these efforts, manage the data collected during these efforts, and update databases as required.
