Macon-Bibb County awards Moreland Altobelli Associates/SACAL Global Solutions team Architect-Engineering Services contract for widening of Bass Road from Riverside Drive to Zebulon Road. The scope of the project is to convert a two lane road to a four-lane road with additional turn lanes, roundabout and interstate overpass bridge widening. The first phase of the project is the development of concept and scoping. The subsequent phases are design, preparation of environmental documents, development of construction drawings and specifications, development of right-of-way plans, acquisition of right-of-way, development of utility relocation plans, and inspection of the construction. The project is estimated at over $50 million.
